It’s been a long time since I have blogged a family photography session. It was a crazy, busy and wonderful summer! Between portrait sessions, the kids, going to the beach with the kids and a fabulous trip to Sault Ste. Marie, the blog got a little bit neglected. Time to catch up!
I have had a number of family photography sessions over the summer, and I’m going to try to blog a few of them over the next few weeks. First, we will start with the Dresser family!
In July, I met with Aileen and Al for their portrait consultation. We discussed the kind of images they would like and emphasized that they really enjoyed images of their daughters acting very candidly. With this in mind, I began planning our session.
When I arrived for their session, they welcomed me into their home and their hearts. For two hours, we had a wonderful time making photographs around their family home just outside of Tottenham. Even though their daughters are all grown, they are still kids at heart!
As you can see, they were spot-on dressed for the occasion! I know that Aileen wanted this to be a portrait session to remember, and they all took their lead from her. They looked FANTASTIC! This is one for the Pinterest board, folks!
Thank you, Al, Aileen, Jocelyn, Justine, Alexandra and Alison (and husbands!) for spending your evening with me. I look forward to being your family photographer some day again soon!
