Image Competition – 2021

On February 20 and 21, the Professional Photographers of Canada held its annual National Image Competition. Over 650 images were judged by three panels. I am pleased to announce that two of my images scored a Merit and an Accepted placement!

In its 74th year, this competition is one of the best in Canada. Placing in this competition is a great achievement. Entering one’s work in an Image Competition provides feedback from judges who do not know you or your work, and while my mom thinks all my work is outstanding, I think she may be biased!

I am pleased to share my winning images:

Official Certificates issued by the PPOC

Thank you to all my colleagues who helped me prepare these images prior to entering. Congratulations to everyone who entered! Watching the judging and hearing the comments is a great learning experience!

I recently received my Environmental Family Accreditation with the PPOC, and I am New Tecumseth’s only Accredited Professional Photographer. I am booking Spring and Summer Portrait sessions and would love to hear from you!
